I chose to track California because I have always wanted to visit there and in science we discussed the importance of offshore drilling. This is a predominately a democratic state. Barack Obama was leading in all the polls I researched. This state is predominatly republican so therefore they are mostly voting for John McCain.
Since this is a mainly republican state we can predict how they are going to vote. It is safe to say that California will probably vote for John McCain. This could help him win or it could help him lose by not as much. We will find out soon enough.
